Now it's here - Dance Week in Spain, Nerja (Malaga) - welcome here and extend the dance summer! Not in place this year? Welcome 2024!
The evening dances start Sunday 22/10 with Christian & friends on stage, Perikles plays Monday 23/10 and Wednesday 25/10, Callinaz plays Tuesday 24/10, Thursday 26/10 and Friday 27/10.
The dance week is BokaNerja's event for those who want to go abroad for sun and warmth and dance! A week filled with dancing joy to Scandinavia's popular dance bands, and with dance courses in bug, fox, salsa, flamenco etc. Of course, also a chance to experience charming Nerja with good food, Andalusian nature and culture, excursions and activities.
We are very happy to be able to invite you to the premiere year of this Dance Week in the last week of October. The dance week is intended to be an annual event and is of course also for those of you who live on the Solkusten and are keen on dancing.

Erika is a trained dance director and owner of the dance school Happy Dance. She has had many popular courses, both around Sweden and abroad. Erika also holds leadership courses and has a PhD in social work.
In Nerja, you will have the opportunity to try Burlesque Inspiration, which is a unique course concept where Erika uses dance to teach you to dare to take your place, develop and appreciate yourself.
There will also be courses in modern Fox for both beginners and experienced dancers. Together with Happy Dance, you will work with creativity, dance joy and fun tours that are well suited for the evening's social dances!
Monday 22/10, Fox Basic course: Fox basic, Fox lead-follow, Fox simple and fun tours, Fox feeling and music adaptation. Try the West Coast Swing.
Tuesday 23/10, Fox Continuation / Next Level. For experienced dancers.

Magnus "Mange" Englund, Östersund's Bugg & Rock'n Roll
Mange is 49 years old, has been dancing since he was 11 years old and also competed for many years until 2007.
Continued with dancing socially and holds courses in bug and foxtrot.
Many like to dance bug, foxtrot, Lindy hop, and most old dances. Then he is trying to learn Argentine tango "in older days"! At Dance Week Nerja, together with dance partners, he holds a few Bugg courses, both Beginner and Advanced, and some surprises!

Mia & Stig Wolfgang, Kalmar
Smålands energiknippen Mia och Stig Wolfgang kommer till Nerja för att hålla igång deltagarna på Dansveckan med både nybörjarbugg och härlig motion i den fantastiska naturen runt Nerja! Mia är licensierad PT, löpnings- och hälsocoach och driver företaget Hälsostark i Kalmar. Stig är gammal SM-guld vinnare i bugg och båda älskar att cyklar och köra triathlon. Tillsammans kommer de sprida dans- och motionsglädje omkring sig under veckan och ge alla extra energi!

Nerja
Sunny Nerja - the small town with the big charm! Nerja is a cozy little Spanish coastal town about an hour from Malaga airport. A so-called microclimate prevails here, with Swedish summer all year round. The easiest way to travel here is with one of the direct flights to Malaga. From Malaga you can take a taxi (from around 70 euros), take a bus or rent a car to get to Nerja. The city is alive all year round thanks to its location and the constant crowd of tourists who want to discover this gem. About 20,000 Spaniards live and live their lives in Nerja, which makes the city lively and just as pleasant to visit all year round! Nerja differs from many of the other towns on the Spanish sunny coast in that there is almost no tall buildings. In the city center there are only two- and three-story houses, many of which are several hundred years old. Think Visby - winding alleys, cozy restaurants, cafes and tapas bars and small shops, combined with several lovely beaches.
Hotel Toboso Chaparill
Hotel Toboso Chaparill in the center of Nerja is our base during the Dance Week. Callinaz plays here in the evenings in the Ballroom, and all around there are restaurants, clubs and pubs to blow off steam between dances. We have reserved all available double rooms and single rooms, which you can book in our package tours. Family hotel located in central Nerja, 300 meters from the beach and just a few minutes' walk from Balcón de Europa and Old Town. The hotel has a small outdoor swimming pool and roof terrace with sun loungers, a comfortable cafeteria with a garden and a buffet restaurant with international dishes.

Hotel Perla Marina is located directly by the sea, about 500 meters from Hotel Toboso Chaparill. There are two pools, a restaurant and a promenade outside, along which you can walk to several fine restaurants
